Cortez, CO 81321BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE: Craig Watson learned Navajo weaving from three Teec Nos Pos, Arizona Navajo weavers: the two elderly weavers Hannah Howard and Daisy Ute; and Daisy's grandson Roy Kady. Publications span the subjects of Navajo weaving, textile restoration, chemistry and Tibetan Buddhism. He has a 20 year career as chemist and has taught Tibetan language. He writes, weaves and restores Navajo rugs from his studio "Lodge in Space" located in a Cedar and Pinyon grove in the Four Corners region of southwest Colorado - the Heart of Indian Country.
